David the author of this Psalm was in his old age. He find out his subjects were aware that his physical strength was waning and they thought that they can overthrow him. but David never relied on his ability to fight but he trusted the Lord," The king is not saved by his great army, a warrior is not delivered by his great strength," (Psalm 33:16)

He has made the Lord his refuge and  his strong Tower; he relied on God all the time. He said: He will never be put to shame because he put his trust on the Lord.

If you make the Lord your refuge you will never be put to shame. In Christ Jesus  we have the name and the authority of Jesus to use  against the enemies, You have the Spirit of the Lord on your side and in you. You can call on the Name of Jesus in every situation and circumstances of life.

The blind man, Bartimaeus, heard that Jesus was passing by sat on the road side and called out "Jesus Son of David have mercy on me"(Luc 18:35). Those around him tried to stop him  but he shouted louder " Jesus son of David have mercy of me". His cry was heard by Jesus His cry reached the ear of the Lord who stopped and order him to come. As he heard Bartimaeus,  He will hear you too and will stopped and minister to you. The blind men received his sight because he called on Jesus  with faith.

David said "turn your ear to me and saved me". Bartimaeus voice of desperation reached Jesus' ears and He reached out and gave him his sight. The name of Jesus is the key to your salvation. There is power on the name; there is no situation or circumstances that the Lord Jesus can not solved. He called Lazarus who was dead for 4 days out of the tomb. He said to Him" Lazarus come forth" and the dead man came forth.

Jarius came to Jesus with faith and begging him to come and lay hand upon his dying daughter, Jesus agreed right away went with him. On the way Jesus was stopped by the needs of the women who was as desperate as Jairus was, Jesus did not rushed, He stopped and healed the women with the issue of blood; While he was ministering to her a servant of Jairus came and told him  his daughter was dead  do not bother the master.  The heart of Jairus must have failed him because Jesus, upon hearing the bad news, turned to him and said " don't be afraid just believe "(Luc 8:15 )   He got rid of the crowd and arrived to Jarius home. He went to the room where the daughter was laid and said "Little girl I said on to you Get up" and she got up".

There is no situation too hard for Jesus. He made a promise :"Ask for anything in my name" and he will do it for you; He want you to be full of joy in him. He will heal your body and make you whole, He will give you back your sight, He will return to you what have been lost, give you victory over your enemies, and restore to life what have been dead.
